GrandChêne Section Internationale is run by APESEB (Association des Parents d'Élèves de la Section Britannique), a non-profit organisation made up of parent volunteers.

Melissa Toledo
Born in Peru and also an Australian citizen, Melissa is an Industrial Engineer with an MBA from the University of Melbourne. She has lived in ten different countries, joining the Committee in 2023 as Marketing Officer before becoming President. Her three children attend Pasteur Primary, Collège Pasteur and Lycée Corneille.

Elise Reboud
Bicultural Anglo-French, Elise holds dual master's degrees from Cambridge and Université Paris Cité. A trained child and family clinical psychologist, she has been an active member of the association since 2018 and is mother of three children at La Celle Saint-Cloud.

Dominique Duquennoy
With a British background and a career in tech, Dominique is drawn to the future of work and meaningful progress. A proud parent to two daughters — one in collège and one starting maternelle — he cares about honest connection and practical innovation.

Sébastien Desharnais
Dual French-Canadian citizen, Sébastien joined the Association in 2022 when his daughter started CE1. He studied and worked in the US, Germany and India, and currently works as an electrical engineer for an American company.

Sharon Chan Comte
From Kuala Lumpur, Sharon has lived in Sydney, Jakarta, Paris and Dubai. She volunteers across school events and communications, with children in 2e and 5e. She looks forward to enhancing school experience through the newsletter.

Justin Kavanagh
Originally from Ireland, Justin has lived in France for over 20 years. With his son beginning at GrandChêne, he joined the Committee to support the community. He works in communications for an international organisation.

Anne Chen
From Brazil, Anne has a Veterinary degree with a public health background, and has lived in Panama before arriving in France in 2021. She joined the association this year and has a daughter at Lycée Corneille.

Piedad Ollero
Spanish, Piedad came to France in 2003 and has three sons in collège and lycée, plus a daughter in maternelle. An engineer serving as CFO of an international energy company, her family joined the Section after six years in London.

Sarah Regnard
South African born, Sarah joined GrandChêne in 2007. Her three children attended the International Section through maternelle to lycée. A bilingual family and full-time Pilates teacher, she has served as class rep and now Collège Rep.

Suzanne Malderez
Born in Paris with a background in international economics, Suzanne worked ten years in central banking before returning from the European Central Bank in Frankfurt. She has three children, two enrolled in the integrated programme.

Kaori Okabe
Kaori spent 16 years in Hiroshima including 10 at the United Nations Institute before moving to France for a Master's at Sciences Po. She developed environmental education curricula at UNESCO HQ and joined the Association in 2022.

Alexandra Billet Leroy
Dual French-American citizen, Alexandra was born and raised in the US and moved to France after graduating in New York. She works in Human Resources & Recruitment and lives in Croissy-sur-Seine with her husband and three children.
