French Immersion Pathway

For children new to France, a minimum level of French is required before joining the main Section programmes. GrandChêne offers a clear pathway:

Primary: Wednesday Programme
Enrol in any local French school for immersion, while maintaining English with our Wednesday classes.
Secondary: Collège UPE2A
From 6ème, Collège Pasteur offers a French immersion programme (UPE2A) for up to one year before joining the Section.
Transition to Integrated
Once French has improved, possibility of joining the Section's integrated programme, subject to availability.
