The International Section at Lycée level (ages 15–18, Seconde–Terminale) offers a bilingual and bi-cultural programme leading to the Baccalauréat Français International (BFI). Fully integrated into the French public school system at Lycée Corneille in La Celle Saint-Cloud, students follow the French national curriculum alongside an enriched programme inspired by the British education system. They sit the IGCSE English Literature exam in Seconde and the BFI in Terminale, an internationally recognised qualification opening doors to universities in France and abroad.

Students develop advanced academic English skills and a strong global outlook through a demanding and rewarding curriculum taught by native English-speaking teachers. The programme includes:

  • Six hours per week in Seconde, increasing to eight hours in Première and Terminale, of English Language & Literature and History-Geography

  • In-depth study of British and North American literature to first-language academic standards

  • A History-Geography curriculum taught and examined entirely in English, aligned with British A-level expectations

  • Preparation for the BFI, a rigorous Franco-British qualification equivalent to four UK A-levels

  • Strong emphasis on critical thinking, source analysis, academic writing, and oral exams

The International Section is ideal for motivated students seeking an academically ambitious, bilingual pathway that prepares them for higher education in the UK, North America, France, and beyond.
