  • International Qualification: Students sit the mandatory IGCSE English Literature examinations at the end of the Seconde year. This critical qualification is key for future university applications worldwide.

Première and Terminale : The Path to the BFI

The final two years are dedicated to intensive preparation for the new Baccalauréat Français Internationale (BFI), which replaces the former OIB. The BFI is highly valued by top international universities.

  • Intensive Instruction: The programme increases specialization with 4 hours of English Literature & Language , 4 hours of History/Geography (taught in English) and World Knowledge (Project based).

  • Qualification: Lycée Corneille follows the specific British BFI programme, with students sitting the official BFI exams at the conclusion of the Terminale year.

Location: Lycée Corneille, La Celle Saint-Cloud (Yvelines)

GrandChêne British Section Lycée Programme is proudly hosted at Lycée Corneille in La Celle Saint-Cloud.

  • Institution Profile: Lycée Corneille is a recently renovated, high-capacity public Lycée in the Yvelines (78) area, serving approximately 1500 students, on two sites.
